Still Moon Studio is a collaborative venture led by mother-and-son duo, Shelly and Cody.
Cody, with his passion for the art of photography, focuses on capturing each moment through his distinct vision, bringing the beauty of love and nature to life with every project. As the sole cameraman and editor, he ensures every image is a perfect reflection of the emotional depth and natural grace of the moment. Shelly, the organizer and primary point of contact, manages the seamless flow of each project, from initial consultation to final delivery.
Together, they blend their unique skills to create a harmonious, professional experience. One where creativity, and personal connection come together to form a consistent unforgettable photographic story.
Cody
Cody, a 33-year-old self-taught artist, is the visionary photographer and editor behind Still Moon Studio. His journey into photography began in 2006, with an innate love for capturing the natural world through his lens. Specializing in weddings since 2014 and expanding into videography in 2018, Cody’s technical expertise and artistic eye will grab your attention within any artistic form.
Raised amidst the mountains in nature, Cody’s approach to photography is deeply rooted in the landscapes that surrounded him as a child—always with a camera in hand. This mountaineering, hands-on approach has influenced his evolving style, which continues to draw inspiration from the Wild West and its stunning, untamed beauty.
Armed with a diverse range of cutting-edge camera gear, including an extensive selection of lenses, Cody’s work is both cinematic and tech-savvy. His signature style captures the raw beauty of candid, unplanned moments, delivering images that feel both authentic and cinematic—preserving the emotion of each fleeting second.
Shelly
Shelly brings over a decade of experience in customer relations to Still Moon Studio, combining organizational expertise with a keen eye for creativity and detail. Before venturing into wedding photography, she spent years honing her skills in book keeping and running her own boutique store. Her natural social skills, passion for building lasting relationships, and expertise leading complex initiatives have shaped her ability to deliver a smooth, stress-free client interaction.
Behind the scenes, she manages all aspects of the client experience, from initial bookings and communications, to orchestrating schedules and timelines. Her meticulous attention to detail and organizational skills allows Cody to focus on his creative work —ensuring that every project runs seamlessly from start to finish.
